The Calf Pen is the MN CattleWomen’s youth outreach program. Our mission is to invest time in the next generation so that they will have the opportunity to be knowledgeable, passionate leaders and ambassadors for the beef industry. The MN CattleWomen host Calf Pen activities at various events but also want to make our resources available to everyone.

“We set up a tent at our county fair just for two hours one day. We walked the kids through the beef barn and looked at all the different ear tags and came back to the tent and made our own tags as a necklace. We finished our time together reading a book about raising beef. It was great and the kids were so curious!”  MNCW member
